AI will certainly change how we use software, and while some people say that SaaS is dead and that prompts will not replace every form. This article challenges that perspective by focusing on compliance, cognitive load, and the history of technology as a source of disruptive change that often delivers incremental progress. The future is likely to be conversational, structured and governed. But the demise of SaaS’s is probably significantly exaggerated.
