Key Facts and Figures

Gislen Software was founded by Mikael Gislen in 1994, and we have grown steadily since then.

In 1998, we completed a critical project for the Swedish national telecommunications operator Telia (now TeliaSonera), and we expanded our Indian offices.

2000 we added software support processes and began to open our offices abroad, working with AIS Inc. in the USA.

2003 we launched our first project planning tool, which was the forerunner our planning software: Planner Suite.

2006 we completed a milestone project – the Automatic Fare Collection system for the county public transportation organisations in Norway, working as sub-contractor to Q-Free ASA, and our company continued to grow.

2007 We recruited more employees and focused on becoming leaders in software requirements analysis, project management and quality control.

2009 Gislen continued to grow. We won more customers and expanded our offices. We became Microsoft Gold Partners.

2010 Still recruiting staff, we upgraded our quality procedures and gained ISO 9001:2008 certification and TickIT.
